This educational session aims to familiarize providers, hospitals, and medical and non-clinical staff with EMTALA, acknowledge the responsibilities, obligations, and legal implications, and provide some best practices for overcoming those challenges. We will also look at case studies, and Medical Mutual claims data to help better understand some of the violations being seen.
